Travel USA

USA travel has been a great pleasure as we love the climate which is cool around 5 to 10 degrees throughout our stay. Best taste of prime ribeye that melts away in your mouth. It is so tender and juicy when you pan fry it as medium rare. Steak is always our favorite and it must be one of our meal for lunch or dinner! Not forgetting our love for pizza. It is really huge pizza to fill your stomach!

Visiting USA

Lake Elizabeth

If you love fresh air and nice scenery, I would suggest that you visit Lake Elizabeth. This lake is unusual because of of the trees and plants can be seen in the lake thus giving a kind of special view. You can enjoy a rather long circuit walk where you will see birds, ducks and cormorants. Wear good walking shoes and also look out for the many different bird species along the way. If you are driving, you will notice that the path to the lake is gravel, bumpy and quite narrow in places. Upon arrival, you will reach an open space with a sign showing you where you can start walking. The path was kinda steep and bumpy forest before reaching the lake. In the evening, you will kinda enjoy the beautiful view of the lake with the sunlight shining in the water.

Farmers Market

We love going out in the morning to the Farmers market to grab some of the fresh fruits and vegetable to cook for our meals. There are a good variety of stalls where we can purchase fresh vegetables and fruits. At the farmers market, farmers are selling their own sustainably raised produce, eggs, poultry, etc. A farmers' market is a physical retail store that are selling foods directly by farmers to us. The one we went to the Farmers' market is outdoors and typically consist of booths, tables where farmers sell fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and sometimes prepared foods and beverages.

Fisherman's Wharf

At Fisherman's Wharf, we went to Pier 39 at the Pier Market Seafood restaurant where we had our meals of Sourdough fish & chips and clam chowder. It was quite tasty and indeed enjoyable as we had a nice view of the sea beyond.

Point Reyes

Our trip to Point Reyes with lots of stair climbing to the Lighthouse Visitor Centre and the Point Reyes Lighthouse. At the visitor centre, we found information regarding the migrating wales, seals, sea lions and birds. It took us about 6 hours drive and we ended up at Hog Island Oyster Co where we shuck the oysters to have the experience. It was fun and kinda tough to shuck. Place for oyster meal
